Great day at the lake!
I finished the boat trailer and truck a while back... finished is a relative term as I am sure things will continually be modified but this week I switched out the electronics in the boat. I put the motor, speed control, and servo from my Traxxas Slash in the boat. It made for a great time at Lake Pleasant. Enjoy the pics!

Trailer sales
So after the sales of my last 2 trailers I decided to build a few more. I started building a gooseneck trailer and decided to finish it and put it on eBay. I also built another flatbed trailer because they can be pulled with anything so I thought they might be a little more popular. Here are a few pics:

You can also see how the new tow rig is coming along. The front bumper showed up and is temporarily mounted until I can get some more hardware. I am still waiting for a kit to widen the axles a little so the tires don't rub on the front steering links and for the winch. Once those arrive I can install everything and get the electronics mounted. I have two more trailers in the making so hopefully they can fund a new build when all of this is done! Let me know if you have any trailer requests!

1.9 Tow Rig
Most of my stuff has arrived for the new build. Below are pictures. The top picture shows the new Traxxas 2.4 Ghz 4 channel radio. The rocker switch will be for the 2 speed transmission in the new truck and the 3 position switch on the front will be for the new winch. I bought the Novak Rooster Crawler ESC with a 45 turn motor. I am hoping that is a good combo for the 2 speed tranny. It also shows a high-torque servo and lights.

Here are the side rails and rear bumper. Front bumper is on back order and will be in soon!

The start of a new Crawler
When I first started looking at crawlers I couldn't believe the amount of money some people were spending on them. Now that I have put in a little time with my Ready to Run truck and tearing it apart, rebuilding it, and then tearing it apart again I have discovered there is just as much if not more fun in the actual building of the truck as driving it. With that being said, I decided to go all out with the new rig. I had been looking on RC4WD.com at aluminum rims for crawlers. It may be a little excessive but none the less it is sweet! I picked out a pair of rims that I wanted and then last week saw them on eBay for $40 less than the website. So I bid, and I won. I was super excited, so Mary took interest in my excitement and asked what I had won. I told her new wheels for my new crawler. Then I told her it saved me about $45 bucks. This made her wheels turn and she asked what they retailed for. I replied - $110. She was shocked! Then an hour later she over heard me talking to Chris about them. When I told Chris I had found the tires I wanted Mary stepped in. Apparently I wasn't clear when I said "wheels". Not done intentionally but none the less she was more shocked. Haha... She has now come to terms with my addiciton and is supporting me more than ever in the new build! Check out the wheels:

(tires not included, haha...)
I have been making a list of new parts and even got some on order. I will post them soon!
Bitter Sweet Sale
After almost 2 years with my rock crawler, getting it just how I wanted, I put it on eBay and it sold within 2 days with the Buy it Now price I listed. I for one was very excited. I got more than I thought out of the truck and now have funds for a new truck. Mary on the other hand was confused... she thought after all the time I put into it and how much I liked my truck I would just let it go so easily. Then she saw the PayPal account, smiled, and said build away. Fairwell to my truck.

I also listed 2 of my trailers. This being the first I ever build, and the first to sell. By selling both of these I now have enough to start my new build. Pics to come of the new rig, but for now a fairwell to good times and a sweet tow rig.

Slash in St. George
We went to St. George again this past weekend and had a great time with the RC's. I took down the start of my gooseneck trailer and with a little work got it towable. I still have a lot of work to do on it but it was pretty fun to drag around and drew quite a crowd at the park!

Every time Jacey sees my trucks her eyes light up and her arms begin to flail. Although her face doesn't show it, she had the time of her life riding on the trailer around the yard!

Here is the new gooseneck trailer.
It is debatable whether or not it is too long,
but I am standing my ground that it is not!

From right to left - my Slash and Mike's comp rig on a 36" dovetail gooseneck. Riley's Slash on my 24" flatbed, and my 4 door Silverado tow rig on the right.

Afton was also quite excited about her ride.

Here is my fan club. Every time we go to St. George the neighbor boy stands and stares over the wall as we drive around. This time he brought his friends to see.

Riley and I went to the skate park in Farmington last week but the St. George park was far better! Check out the pics and videos from "Skate George".
That's all for now!
